YOUTH FITNESS Our Youth Fitness class emphasizes sports and sportsmanship in all forms, as well as healthy lifestyles. Kids will play a variety of games and sports, including basketball, indoor soccer, hockey, and baseball. The class aims to develop not only motor skills and sport fundamentals but also self-efficacy and interpersonal skills, as well as nutrition fundamentals. This is the place for youth to start building a strong foundation for a healthy future. Drop-in class, max 20 kids. YOUTH STRENGTH TRAINING The Youth Strength Training (YST) program is designed to orient youth members ages 8-15 to the Fitness Center in a small group setting. During this 3-phase course, youth will be trained on how to safely and appropriately use our cardio and strength training equipment, as well as learn proper Fitness Center etiquette and rules. All youth ages 8-11 years old must go through our YST program before utilizing the Fitness Center, and we highly encourage youth ages 12-15 to take the class as well. A parent or guardian must accompany youth members ages 8-9 in the Fitness Center at all times. Please call the fitness desk at 408-310-4270 to set up an appointment.
