Maintenance Projects:

Major Projects:

  • East Dunne Water Main Project: The project is complete.  City Council acceptance is scheduled for April 5, 2017. For more information and weekly updates please check the following link http://www.morgan-hill.ca.gov/1551/East-Dunne-Water-Transmission-Line-Insta
  • Oak Canyon Booster Station: This project is currently under construction on Oak Canyon Lane in the Jackson Oaks neighborhood. Expected completion is April 2017. For updates: http://www.morgan-hill.ca.gov/1439/Water-Systems-Upgrades
  • Dewitt Avenue S-Curve Realignment Project: The County of Santa Clara is the lead agency for the DeWitt Avenue S-Curve Realignment safety project between Origilia Lane and Spring Avenue. The City of Morgan Hill is a partner in the project and providing some financial support for the project. The project has been awarded to Granite Rock Company for $2.1M with construction work commencing in April 2017.   • Hale Avenue Extension/Hale Avenue Plan Line Projects: A DRAFT Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared for this project (located on the City’s website). The City received comments to the draft EIR and is now in the process of preparing the final EIR with responses to all comments.  This document will be available shortly on the City’s website.
  • Granada Hotel: Water main installation on East First Street will begin in the next two weeks.
  • Ongoing Utility Work: Ongoing utility work will continue on the east side of Monterey Road from Third Street to Fourth Street after the rains stop.
