Following a large scale emergency you may need to be self sufficient for a minimum of 3 days. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training will teach you to better prepare, respond, and recover from fires, floods, earthquakes, and other local disasters we cannot predict.

The City of Morgan Hill Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) curriculum delivers emergency preparedness skills and trains students in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, disaster psychology, and disaster medical operations.

CERT Basic Training is free to South Santa Clara County residents. High School students are also welcome to attend and may receive community service hours.
