Fire Permits & Services
Permit Applications (PDF) for all fire-related construction activity, such as commercial and residential sprinklers, fire alarms, commercial hood and duct systems, high-pile storage and suppression systems, are to be submitted via email to permits@morganhill.ca.gov. Non-PDF submittals will not be accepted.

Inspections
Fire inspections are performed on Tuesdays through Fridays only. To schedule an inspection please use the City's ETRAKiT system, which will allow you to schedule and view inspections.
Fire Permits for Special Events
Special events include but are not limited to:
- Assemblies/vigils with candles or open flames
- Carnivals
- Fairs
- Fireworks
- Tents or canopies
A Special Events permit application (PDF) and fees (PDF) are required and may be submitted to the Building Division located at 17575 Peak Avenue, Morgan Hill. Inspections are performed by the Morgan Hill Fire Marshal. Please call 408-310-4654 for more information.
The Underground Storage Tank (UST) program and the Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) are handled by the Santa Clara County Department of Environmental Health located at 1555 Berger Drive, Suite 300, San Jose 408-918-3400. Download the Hazardous Materials Clearance Form (PDF).
