Upcoming Downtown Events with Road Closures

Due to COVID-19 and the current guidelines from Santa Clara County and the State of California, events may be canceled or postponed. Please check with event organizers for further details.

  • Morgan Hill Farmers Market  - Ongoing 
    This event takes place every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CalTrain Station parking lot at 3rd Street and Depot Street in downtown Morgan Hill. The parking lot is closed for the event, there is not an additional road closure.

  • Sidewalk Saturdays April 2, 2022 - June 26, 2022 
    This event takes place Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on East 3rd Street in downtown Morgan Hill. Dates include April 2, 2022 - June 26, 2022. There will not be an event on May 28, 2022. There are no road closures for this activity. 

  • Morgan Hill Downtown Association Wine Stroll (Plaza Use)
    This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2022, in downtown Morgan Hill. There is no road closure for this event. However, the event will be utilizing the Plaza out front of the Parking Structure in Downtown on East Third. For event details, please the Downtown Association's website

  • Private Ceremony (Third Street Creek Park Use)
    This private event is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Downtown Third Street Creek Park. There is no road closure for this event and the park remains open for pedestrians. However, the event does take place within the park and will bring additional people to the downtown.  

  • Mushroom Mardi Gras - May 28-29, 2022
    The 2022 Mushroom Mardi Gras is scheduled for May 28-29, 2022. Setup and road closures will begin on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Road closures include Depot Street between Main Avenue and Fifth Street, and the side streets of East 2nd, East 3rd, East 4th, and East 5th. Monterey Road will remain open. 

    Access to the parking structure will remain open with access from Monterey Road. A portion of the upper floor of the parking structure may be utilized for permitted resident parking. Residents of East 1st, East 2nd, East 3rd streets will have vehicle access to their homes during event hours, from Monterey Road. Proof of residency will be required to gain access through the road closure.
