Senior Adult Legal Assistance
Free legal assistance for Santa Clara County residents ages 60 and older with problems pertaining to Social Security, Medicare, Medi-Cal, mobile homes, elder abuse, and housing. Spanish translation available. Please call Senior Adults Legal Assistance directly at 408-295-5991 for a phone appointment.

AARP Tax Preparation
Free income tax preparation for low and middle income taxpayers by IRS certified volunteers. Appointments are made during tax season, February - April, and are scheduled on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Due to COVID-19 this year, the AARP volunteers are only taking appointments from clients who had appointments during the last 2 years.  Please call the Senior Center at 408-782-1284 and leave a message.

Health Insurance Counseling
California Health Advocates offers counselors to assist seniors (age 60+) and their families understand and evaluate the confusing array of insurance options. This services is provided by trained counselors from the California Department on Aging.  Currently, HICAP is taking phone appointments only. Please call the Senior Center to make an appointment. 

Dementia Caregiver Support Group
This group provides a safe place for family members and friends of dementia patients.  It will enable caregivers to find support and learn how to cope with the symptoms and life changes associated with dementia and other related disorders. These meetings take place virtually on the 4th Monday of each month from 12:00-1:30 p.m.  Please call the Senior Center if you are interested in attending.  

VTA Access Paratransit Transportation
VTA will provide seniors with rides to their required destination. If you are interested in an application you may contact VTA 408-321-2300 or the Senior Center at 408-782-1284 to obtain an application. VTA application
